Compressors AV-100; AU-200; AUU-400 - cross-head, 2-4-8 cylinders, direct-flow, U-shaped.
Compressor crankcases are cast iron and have replaceable cylinder liners. Water jackets are located in the upper part of the cylinders. A stamped steel double bearing crankshaft with two 180 ° elbows supported by angular contact self-aligning roller bearings.
The operation of the compressor in the refrigeration system is as follows: ammonia vapors from the evaporative system are sucked into the compressor cylinders, compressed to the condensation pressure, then enters the oil separator, where they are freed from oil particles. From the oil separator, the vapors enter the condenser, condense, and the liquid ammonia goes back to the evaporator system through the control valve. This cycle repeats continuously.
