Pyatochkovye

The Pyatachkovy (combined) valves are intended for refrigerating piston compressors, the speed of which rotation of an elbowed shaft to 1500 turns/min. The Pyatachkovy valve consists of the common housing for two compressor cylinders on which two delivery and two suction valves are mounted. Pressure valves have the express buffer spring protecting the compressor from a water hammer.

The Pyatachkovy valve — is modification of the ring valve. This valve consists of a thin plate which is kept in a valve saddle by a spring plate and a holder. At increase in pressure in the cylinder the plate rises, overcoming forces of a spring plate. The holder limits raising of the valve and holds a plate so that it quickly closed the channel when the difference of pressure decreases.

The Pyatachkovy valve should use when in the compressor there is no place for the exhaust and soaking-up valves. Valves of this group are most often used in refrigerating piston compressors, the speed of which rotation of an elbowed shaft to 1500 turns/min.
