General description of the 2UP compressor

Mechanisms and operation of the compressor 2UP

Compressor 2UP includes: cylinder, piston, oil seal box, frame with crankcase, crosshead, crankshaft, electric motor.

The frame of the compressor 2UP is made of cast iron. In the lower part of it there is a crankcase, specially designed for collecting oil. Draining from the bearing. The main function of the frame, of course, is to mount all the main components and parts of the installation, including the electric motor that drives the compressor units. The frame also takes on the forces from all the moving parts of the machine: inertia, friction and torques. Due to its massiveness, the cast-iron frame stabilizes the installation and does not allow it to sway during operation.

The shaft of the compressor 2UP is made of steel and is equipped with drills, through which the lubricant is supplied. The finger is made separately and then mounted "hot".

The crosshead of the 2UP installation consists of supports (called shoes) and a steel body. The supports are removable, which allows you to use gaskets to eliminate the gap during the installation of the unit. The stem for this model is solid-forged, made of high-quality steel. It is polished and tempered.

The 2UP compressor is equipped with two independent lubrication systems to increase reliability. The low-pressure system lubricates the base mechanisms, and the high-pressure system is designed to supply oil to the cylinder. It is recommended to use viscous oils for the 2UP compressor to avoid the formation of an emulsion when the heated oil comes into contact with water.
